Refund & Cancellation Policy

Pyaas – Water Delivery Platform

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all purchases made through the Pyaas mobile application and website (“Platform”). By placing an order on Pyaas, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Nature of Product

Pyaas supplies 20L drinking water jars, dispensers, and related accessories. Due to the essential and consumable nature of the products, all sales are considered final once confirmed, except in specific cases mentioned below.


2. Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds will be considered ONLY under the following circumstances:

✔ The wrong item was delivered
✔ The delivered item is physically damaged at the time of delivery
✔ The product seal is broken at the time of delivery

Important Conditions:

  • The issue must be reported immediately at the time of delivery or within a reasonable time window determined by Pyaas.

  • Clear photo or video proof may be required.

  • The product must remain unused.

  • The delivery partner may verify the issue on the spot.

Pyaas reserves the sole right to inspect, verify, and determine eligibility.


3. Refund Method

Approved refunds will NOT be processed to bank accounts, UPI, cards, or cash.

All approved refunds will be credited exclusively to the user’s Pyaas Wallet within the app.

Wallet balance can be used for future purchases on the Platform.

Wallet credits are non-transferable and cannot be withdrawn as cash.


4. Order Cancellation Policy

Before Order Confirmation

If an order is cancelled before confirmation and processing, no charges will apply.

After Order Confirmation / During Processing

Once an order is confirmed and processing has begun:

  • Cancellations are generally NOT permitted.

  • Refunds are generally NOT provided in such cases.

However, Pyaas may review exceptional situations at its sole discretion and take appropriate action if deemed necessary.

Pyaas holds the final authority in deciding cancellation outcomes.


5. Subscription Orders

For subscription-based deliveries:

  • Scheduled deliveries may be paused or modified as per the app’s subscription controls.

  • Orders already processed for dispatch may not be eligible for cancellation.

  • Missed deliveries due to customer unavailability may not qualify for refunds.


6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after order confirmation

  • Incorrect address provided by user

  • Customer unavailable at delivery location

  • Delay caused due to circumstances beyond Pyaas' control (traffic, weather, force majeure, etc.)

  • Minor packaging marks that do not affect product usability


7. Fraud & Misuse Protection

Pyaas reserves the right to:

  • Reject refund claims found to be false, abusive, or fraudulent

  • Suspend or permanently block user accounts involved in policy abuse

  • Withhold wallet credits if misuse is detected

Pyaas maintains delivery logs and verification mechanisms for dispute resolution.


8. Dispute Resolution

All refund decisions made by Pyaas shall be considered final and binding.
In case of disputes, Pyaas reserves the right to resolve the matter internally in accordance with applicable laws.


9. Policy Updates

Pyaas reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
